Protecting your privacy has always been and continues to be a priority of Millbury Savings Bank. This notice explains how we collect, use, retain and protect your information.
How We Collect Information
Millbury Savings Bank collects nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:
- Information you provide to us on applications, other forms, in person, by telephone, electronically or by any other means. This information may include your name, addresses, telephone numbers, employment, income, credit and other information.
- Information relating to your transactions with the Bank and others. This information may include your account balances, payment history and account usage.
- Information the Bank receives from a consumer reporting agency. This information may include account information and information about your creditworthiness and credit history.
Sharing Information
Millbury Savings Bank does not disclose any of your nonpublic personal information that we collect to anyone, except as permitted by law. We are required to, or may provide information about you, to third parties as permitted by law, such as:
- To comply with your specific request;
- To respond to a subpoena or court order, judicial process or regulatory agency;
- To process your transactions or carry out the Bank’s ordinary course of business. These third parties may include data processing companies, other financial institutions, check printing and other service providers not affiliated with the Bank;
- To assist the Bank to market its products and services. These third parties may include service providers the Bank uses for direct mailings, customer surveys or printing;
- To consumer reporting agencies; or
- To protect against fraud.
We may disclose all the nonpublic personal information we collect as described in the section, How We Collect Information, to third parties that perform services and functions, including marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements. By contract, we prohibit third party disclosure or use of your nonpublic personal information other than to carry out the purposes for which we disclosed the information.
Former Customers
If, in the future, we no longer have a continuing relationship with you, Millbury Savings Bank will adhere to its Privacy Policy with respect to nonpublic personal information about you. We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law.
Information Security and Accuracy
Millbury Savings Bank restricts access to your nonpublic personal information to our employees who need that information to provide products or services to you. The Bank maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.
Millbury Savings Bank also maintains procedural controls to keep customer information as accurate and complete as we can. If you believe any information about you is not accurate or if the information has changed, please let us know.
Our Privacy Policy applies to Millbury Savings Bank’s products and services used for personal, family or household purposes. The Bank reserves the right to change the Privacy Policy at any time. The examples referred to within this notice are not intended to be all-inclusive.
